Chion-in Wajun Kaikan - Kyoto

Located in the Higashiyama area and directly next to Chion-in Temple grounds, Chion-in Wajun Kaikan offers Japanese and Western-style accommodations. Shakyo Sutra transcriptions and Buddhist morning services can be experienced and free WiFi is available at the public areas.

The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and a fridge. Guests can choose to stay in rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding or in rooms with Western beds. The bathroom comes with a hairdryer and Japanese Yukata robes are provided.

Guests can take the public bus from JR Kyoto Train Station to Chioin-mae Bus Stop, which is a 5-minute walk away from the property. Wajun Kaikan Chion-in is a 5-minute walk from Yasaka Shrine and a 20-minute walk from Kiyomizu Temple. Gion Shijo Train Station is a 10-minute walk away and JR Kyoto Train Station is a 15-minute drive away.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.

The property has a curfew at 23:00. Guests cannot enter or leave the property after this time.
